Last day of July and was a wonderful month it has been. I started a new amazing job to pay the bills (and pay for book expenses) and the revamped edition of book 1 is in my beta's hands. I'm also doing well with keeping up with my Skype book group (new age, people, new age!). Why a skype group? Well because local group around me are terrible so authors I know get together on Skype and chat instead. And let me tell you, these group chats are a lot of help, so if you're an author or an aspiring author, you may want to consider joining one if you haven't already.
Now to explain what my title is about today. Fellow author, Laura J Whiskens is releasing a new book tomorrow! The book is called Riot Girl, and it's a romance about a young girl named Indi who fell in love at age 17 with her fiend Joel, and then had her heart broken when he left in pursuit of his career in his rock and roll band. In wake of his departure, she is left to pick up the peices and keep one heck of a secret. After several years pass, she's still trying to get her life together and deal with the loss when Joel and his band, the Riots, come back to to town...
Laura has gratiously given me an advanced copy and man is this book good. I've been busy so I haven't been able to finish it time for the release but I wish I could because I hate putting this book down. If you're interested, go check it out.
